Building on the Sand

Using God only when we think we need Him or only in times of emergency is what Jesus calls “building on the sand” (Matt 7:24-29). Zedekiah illustrates Jesus’ teaching of building on the sand.

1. I am building on the sand if I use prayer without obeying God (2-3)
2. I am building on the sand if I claim faith without treasuring God (2-5)
3. I am building on the sand if I remain deceived without repenting to God (6-10)
